On Thursday, December 3, 2009, The Department of Redevelopment will open 7th Avenue to through traffic from 29th Street to 30th Street and 30th Street from 7th Avenue to 8th Avenue, as new street re-construction has been completed. Larry Bird Avenue between 7th and 8th Street, 8th Street from Eagle Street to Cherry Street and Cherry Street from 7th Street to 9th Street are now open to through traffic.
